* I have known Jim and Nancy for many years, from church, school and our home
community of Oregon, Wisconsin. I knew that Jim worked in concrete, but never
gave it much thought until one day when I saw him giving an estimate for our
neighbor’s driveway. As it turns out, I had called another company to ask for an
estimate, but they never called me back. So….. I walked over to Jim and asked if
he would have time for another estimate that morning. He said “No problem,” and
he came over 10 minutes later.
I am sure glad he just happened to be there that Saturday morning, because we
now have the finest driveway you could ever imagine. My wife and I constantly
remind ourselves just how much more we like our new drive, not to mention that
it has been significantly more convenient this winter, and much easier to keep
clean with the snow blower.
Jim and his crew were efficient, professional and on schedule the entire project.
When I asked for additional landscaping, Jim was not only quick to assist; but
he spent extra time on a Saturday to do so. I felt that the attention to detail and
quality was excellent, and to a level that was more than I expected.

area of our home. We had seen the Wallace's sidewalks and other concrete accents they
had at their home, loved the unique style, so decided to work with Jim to design something

* In May of 1992, Jim Wallace put in a concrete sidewalk for us, extending some 50
feet from the house to the driveway, in order to replace old stepping stones. Although
Jim made it from poured concrete, he expertly used a new process which makes it look
like traditional red brick. But instead of having to cope with bricks which can cause
problems, we have a walk which will last beyond our lifetimes and will always be attractive.
Jim has designed the walk and the railing so that it adds considerably to the look of the old
stone landmark house. We are more than happy with the result and virtually everyone who
comes to the house comments most favorably on our walk. Jim does a topnotch job,
is friendly to deal with, and can be completely depended on to do honest work to be proud of.
