Thanks for stopping by.  My name is Matt Wallace.  I was born and raised in the Madison area.  I graduated from Oregon High School in 1993 and immediately went to work for My Dad in his business -The Concrete Company after school.

 

At The Concrete Company, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality of concrete services. Our expertise lies in driveways, garages, patios, and walkways. We also specialize in raising and lifting concrete, and repairing concrete surfaces. Our commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction has earned us a trusted reputation in the community.
 

In 2009 I took over ownership of the business.  I have been married to my wife Jamie for 25 years and in that time we have been blessed with five wonderful children. In April of 2009 we lost our 14 month old daughter to a severe heart defect and since have raised over $330,000 to build a sibling care room at Children's Hospital Of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where she was treated. Since then we have also launched a charity called "Nevaeh's Rae of Hope where we send families who have recently lost a child on an all expense paid getaway to help in their grieving and healing journey.

The Concrete Company has been a family owned and run business since my dad Jim, founded it in 1992. My Grandfather, George Wallace, also had his own concrete business in Milwaukee so I guess you could say that it runs in the family.  When I first started working for my dad it became obvious to me what was important when it came to owning a concrete business.   Complete honesty, being courteous, complete customer satisfaction and attention to detail are all vital for being successful in this industry. I believe the first two, honesty and being courteous, are a necessity in life.
